GSSM January Open Chess Tournament
Saturday, January 18th, 2020
Game Format: Five round Swiss G/30 d5, one open section for all players.
Location: Governor’s School for Science and Mathematics (GSSM), 401 Railroad Ave., Hartsville, South Carolina 29550 (see flyer link below)
Regular entry fee: $20. Special entry fee of $5 for scholastic players. USCF membership required, can join at site.
Registration: 9:15-10:00 a.m. at site, with rounds beginning at 10:20, 11:30, 2:00, 3:10, and 4:20.
Cash prizes: $100 first place, $65 second place, $35 third place if twelve full EF entries; pro rata otherwise.
Other: No smoking in building
